Drum Lessons
Learn to play drums, read music, study for graded examinations and improve your ability and confidence as a musician through half hour or hour long drum lessons. Tuition is delivered in-person on a full size drum kit and all equipment is provided. The lessons are tailored to help you achieve your drumming goals whilst having fun and focus on the pieces that you want to learn. All ages and abilities considered and beginners are welcome! Learning an instrument can be a very rewarding hobby and as a tutor I aim to instill an enthusiasm for lifelong learning as well as a passion for music and performance. Digital Grades and Diplomas
Many people choose to pursue graded music examinations as they progress. Face-to-face examinations occur just a few times each year, but exam boards now routinely offer assessment through digital media, allowing candidates to record at a time and venue of their choice. As well as supporting your study, I am able to provide all the equipment neccessary to record your exam entry and to guide you through the process of submitting your video for assessment.
Your Tutor
Adam is a musician and tutor with almost 20 years experience of playing, performing and recording. As well as his private practice, he provides instrumental tuition in schools across Derbyshire. He specialises in rock, pop and metal drumming, with Level 3 certificates in popular music performance from RSL and Trinity College London. A Musician’s Union member, he holds public liability insurance and an enhanced DBS check. He currently plays drums for Electric Pets and has performed on stages across the UK and Europe.
